LimePath EasiWalk UV is ‘no dig’ system that provides a UV stable permeable system ideal for footpaths where there are access limitations for alternative sub bases. Installed at 40mm onto a well compacted and edged MOT type 1 or MOT type 3 base, LimePath EasiWalk UV creates a natural appearance whilst meeting SuDS (Sustainable Drainage Systems) requirements by allowing through its matrix rain water to be returned to the ground helping to prevent the risk of flooding. Using UV stable polyurethane technology, the strength and resistance to UVA and UVB prolongs the performance both durability wise and visually. Available in a variety of colours (see LimePath EasiWalk swatch sheet) due to the use of high performance UV stable resin protecting the stability of the natural colour from obvious change, the aggregate surface is widely specified across the UK in many forms.

Slip resistance
All LimePath EasiWalk UV aggregate blends have been tested for slip resistance in wet and dry conditions. Anti-Slip Aggregate broadcast onto the surfacing during installation will significantly increase the slip resistance of the surface in the wet and on steep gradients without substantial change to appearance.
Resin & aggregate
LimePath EasiWalk UV system uses an Aliphatic UV resistant resin in line with the guidance notes published by the Resin Bound Technical Committee as part of FeRFA The Resin Flooring Association. Manufacturers commit to ISO9001 standards and QUV testing to raise the standards within the industry. The aggregates sourced are also provided by FeRFA members that meet the highest standards.
Please Note:
Natural aggregates can contain small amounts of iron which can produce rust staining when exposed to air and water; standard LimePath EasiWalk UV blends are selected not just for visual appearance but to eliminate where known and as advised by our preferred suppliers in writing to us products that are known as being of a High Risk of rusting. Although this can not be guaranteed to be eradicated completely as the presence of iron cannot be identified fully before use and Limegate Solutions cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage suffered as a result of staining.

LimePath EasiWalk UV contractors
LimePath EasiWalk UV is a specialist product and must only be applied by specialist applicators. Do not apply or allow it to be applied by contractors who do not possess the necessary experience.
Working times & temperatures
Working time is affected by temperature; at temperatures above the maximum recommended 25°C the pot life and working time may be insufficient to allow a wet edge to be maintained. Do not therefore proceed when product and/or air temperature exceeds recommendations. The air temperature must be monitored during application and work should stop when the temperature exceeds recommendations. Care must be taken to keep materials as cool as possible in warm weather. At low temperatures 5°C and below the resin will not flow sufficiently to achieve a smooth finish and work should not proceed.
Substrate requirements
LimePath EasiWalk UV System is designed for foot traffic and after consultation occasional vehicle access traffic such as light infrequent maintenance vehicles or pedestrian two wheel mode of transportation. All resin bound products by nature will be vulnerable to heavy impact and high point loading. It is good practise that the product is subject to cleaning and maintenance and regularly inspected by the client or installer and maintained as required.

Site attendance
When on site Limegate Solutions representatives are if asked, able to give a general indication of the correct method of installing Limegate Solutions products. It is important to bear in mind that Limegate Solutions is a supplier and not an application contractor and it is therefore the responsibility of the contractor and his employer to ensure he is aware of the correct practices and procedures to ensure the correct installation of the product and that liability for its correct installation is with the contractor and not with Limegate Solutions Ltd.
